Dr. Jeffrey Rutherford, D.C.
Dr. Jeffrey Rutherford graduated from Logan College of Chiropractic in 1998. Before joining Citrin Chiropractic Center in 2003, Dr. Rutherford took over an existing practice from a retiring Doctor just a few miles from Citrin Chiropractic Center. He is currently a member of the Missouri State Chiropractic Association (MSCA).
Dr. Rutherford has undergone special training for Auto Accident Injuries, and Sports Injuries. He’s got a background in high level sports and fitness.
Dr. Rutherford is originally from Gurdon, Arkansas where he received a Bachelor of Science degree from Henderson State University in Arkadelphia, Arkansas. He played competitive baseball while growing up and was drafted by a professional baseball team. His interest in sports culminated in him pursuing his Doctorate in Chiropractic, as he has seen on a firsthand basis the injuries and pitfalls that hamper athletes at all levels of competition. This helps with understanding and handling the general public and their comment day to day injuries. In addition to maintaining a successful chiropractic practice, he enjoys spending time with his wife and grandkids. Dr. Rutherford enjoys taking on house projects like remodeling and landscaping. He has played many competitive sports in his career. In the past, he ran 1/2-full Marathon, and some rock climbing. Now his favorite is scuba diving and spearfishing. He loves the beauty and peace that you get while diving. Plus, he is a huge Cardinal and Blues Fan! Dr. Rutherford resides in St. Peters, MO with his wife, Tess, and three children and four grandkids. They have recently welcomed four of his wife’s family from the Philippines for the first time in the US. |
